Flying Dream

The animal in the painting, which looks like both a horse and a bull, is called "Connochaetes Taurinus”, which is a social animal and actually a bull which looks like a horse. During its lifetime, it has to toil away for food and water without rest. So since its birth, it has to learn to walk; otherwise, it will be attacked by other beasts and die, which is hard for human beings to imagine. Out of every five connochaetes taurinus, only one can live until adulthood; and those which can live until adulthood are the strongest and luckiest ones.

 

Many of us in cities also toil away every day to make a living, just like the connochaetes taurinus in the painting. Some give themselves wholly to their work; some march ahead courageously; some are extremely tired both physically and mentally; and all are stifled by life with their ideals and dreams vanishing like smoke and dispersing like clouds.

 

However, some people still insist on pursuing their dreams tirelessly even if they are living in limited areas, because they believe that one day, they will have the chance to soar to great heights!
