“Afraid of the Death, meanwhile enchanted by the death itself.”

I dedicated the inspiration of this piece of work to those animals being killed on the road. After their original flesh being crushed, exposed under sunlight over long period of time, has been gradually transfigured from concrete figures into abstract composition. However eventually with merely subtle trace which can barely be seen has left on the floor.

I enjoy observing those reactions from people reading my works. When those bloodily stinky rotten corpses has been reconstructed by colorful, tenderly soft fabrics, hence leading us to aesthetical contradiction. This sort of contradiction is indeed to me the most interesting part of my work.

Grotesque, delicate and contradiction, I define my own works with these three words. The peculiar appearance might not be easily accepted by the public, however the delicacy of language within is the inevitable and unavoidable feature. This is the kind of contradiction I would like to express throughout my work, by inviting the observer to experience it gently and patiently.
