'Are we well yet' is an icon for the 21st century. A time of momentous movement forward in technology, health and wealth in the western world. And yet the utopic future these developements promised have also brough something else - rising mental health issues.
The icon is part a highly polished piano black finish - represents this utopic promise. The other half is made from the 'healing stone’ rose quartz. The use of the healing stone (which is purported to balance emotional health) represents the growing wellness industry which promises an alternative healing for the pains of our era.
