Some people say ceramic artworks last for a thousand years or more, but obviously it is not true when we see the actual ancient potteries coming out of excavation sites, not the artifacts on the museums, which were heavily restored by a team of archaeologists and more individuals of expertise. The truth is the mere fact that ‘nothing is permanent’. In other words, ‘Everything dies.’ This is the unmovable law of this world unless the humanity finally finds the way of conquering death.

The broken-vase-shaped sculpture and fluorescent crack patterns all over it stand for that simple message. Sometimes we think what we have for granted and permanent or take things too seriously like those negative thoughts are going to last forever. And do more absurd behaviors because we sometimes forget everything’s mortality. We act more blindly to it, the unchangeable fatality of the world shines brighter like fluorescent PLA filaments under ultraviolet lights.
