"NUMB" was created using the alla prima technique on a 36" x 48" stretched linen canvas. Numb highlights the process of deflecting emotional response when reality begins to set in. This is a strategy to further protect yourself from mental and emotional pain. Although difficult to handle, feeling numb is temporary, and a necessary step in order to progress in the stages of healing.
