Find Me Twice

"Find Me Twice" is an artwork which consists of three small paintings (45 x 60 cm) and a large scale painting (121 x 152 cm). Informed by the new spatiality of the 21^st century, often described as the proliferation of spaces and defined by the hybrid condition of living, the artwork evolves around the idea of digital and actual duality, simultaneity, and displacements of our lives and world. Our reality encompasses being implicated in an excessive number of processes at various scales and how, in a material sense, the body is the co-processor of digital information. By exploring the nexus interlinking space, image, and body in the complex texture and thickness of the present, the imagery deploys experiences of disparate forces to generate a more inclusive continuum.
