I use soft pastel to freeze moments and depict time in our contemporary world especially where I live in New York city.

I was fascinated by the delivery man’s gayness and dedication toward his work. The receding overhead subway railroad also captured my attention. I love exploring soft pastel to express my feelings about happenings at different locations in the city.
