One Summer's Day in Napier - Digital (Ipad drawing)

Inspired by a trip to Napier where my husband and I enjoy the art deco buildings, fashion, museums, gelato and laughter of the locals. It was one of those rare kinds of summer days that happened from time to time to walk where everything seems to fall in place. The Tom Parker Fountain by the seaside caught my eye because of its' colours, and the water splash in the air reminded me of 'A Big Splash'(1967) by David Hockney. I did not want to miss the feeling and forget my sweet memory of the day so I digitally created this work to capture it to look back on in the future.
